ART THEFT UPDATES >> Ok guys, As you all know a ton of us were all victims of this thread >> [link] and yes some of you may not really care if having your art go on other ppls sigs , avys or having it used as private RO server loading screens is illegal without your permission. I'm telling you it is. Like what *bara-chan said on my journal its a derivative work meaning it was modified and altered for their use. Whats worse is our commissioned work is ending up being used by the wrong people. Wouldn't you want to make them realize that this is wrong?

Me n my boyfriend have already been posting on their forums in spanish to stop this or legal action would be taken. The emails that we've been sending have been ignored. I even informed DA because most were directly ripped from DA. And I'm encouraging you guys to register / post on the forum claiming that the posters never asked permission for your work if that is your case [even if it may not be in spanish]. The reason I'm doing this is so that they may realize that the artists and owners of these works know their rights and that the people who use our art do it in the right way.

If you help me stop this art theft, you won't just be helping me but you'll be helping a lot of other DA artists who've been having their art ripped. Other artists who don't have their art stolen on the forum should feel free to post in our support. DA is a community for artists not a place to rip off works!

Fellow artists, If you're recieving this message this means your Ragnarok artworks have been a victim of art theft at the Terra forums. Users in this forums have been posting our artworks for free usage in avatars, siggys etc. If you believe this to be wrong in your case feel free to refer to my journal for more info and the links to the forum. I understand some people allow using their artworks for sigs etc but please have a look just in case an artwork of yours was used in the wrong way. The info is on my current journal.
